Story : Signature, premium micro-batch Distrikt Whiskey. 68.4% Unreleased ‘collector only’ edition beer bottle & a tiny run of Black Crystal decanters were etched to commemorate. Bottled for release at 102 proof for appreciation with a pipette at the preferred strength & profile cohesive with the sitting
Eyes : Light amber with orange hues & a warm golden sheen
Nose : Rich raisin, hints of sauternes. Citrus oils, cinnamon, spice & earthy chocolate
Finish : Deep spice, dried fruits. Chocolate pudding & toasted nuts, linear finish. Fine to medium tannins, structured & linear

FRENCH TOAST
Story : Distrikt Hungarian Oak Whiskey highlighted in a select, charred French Oak mini cask for only days. Imparting Crème’ Brulee, & a glassy ‘crunch’, French Toast derived from an inspirational musical composition, with a subtle reference to the technique employed & the oak treatment
Eyes : Light amber, gold
Nose : Crème’ caramel, toffee, flamed cinnamon quill & scorched almond
Finish : Think Batch 1.1, cut to 44% intentionally, then whisked through another petit style oak cask to highlight an already European styled product in Western Australia. A balance of two types of European Oak maturation complimenting each other with the French Toast (charred) finish highlighting the Hungarian Oak base Whiskey, to accentuate woody / floral & dry lactone with patisserie flavours coating the cheeks. Classy, long, satisfying finish with a lingering sweetness & gentle warmth

Story : Distrikt Hungarian Oak Whiskey highlighted in a select, uncharred virgin French Oak Mini Cask seasoned months with ‘Piggs Peake’ Vintage Port 2014, direct from their cask, cohesively fortifying in French Oak
Eyes : Light mahogany, ruby with amber hues
Nose : Vanilla bean, white chocolate raspberry licorice & dried apricots
Finish : Opulent, viscous generosity with a milk bud texture, layers of fruit flan, caramel & honey. Tangelo, raspberry coulis. Lingering with subtle spice & hints of espresso
